Los poblados de colonización son, con toda probabilidad, sus obras más reconocidas, reivindicadas hoy por su conexión orgánica entre el espacio urbano y la naturaleza circundante, o por su capacidad por ordenar de forma equilibrada la relación entre el espacio público y el espacio privado. Fue un hombre religioso y de ideas avanzadas, claramente por delante de su tiempo. Supo establecer la integración de las artes contando con la colaboración de jóvenes artistas para la ejecución de la iconografía religiosa de las iglesias de los poblados, con un resultado extremadamente moderno y aperturista para la época. Esta inclinación hacia el arte contemporáneo le llevó a la dirección del entonces recién creado Museo Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo. Por iniciativa suya el museo se hizo con obras de artistas consagrados, y, a la vez, con obras tempranas de artistas por entonces desconocidos, piezas que hoy forman parte significativa del Museo Nacional Reina Sofía de Madrid.Durante varios años desarrolló una intensa labor docente en la escuela de arquitectura de Madrid. No menos importantes son sus textos, recopilados bajo el título Palabra y obra. El Tribunal Constitucional, en su sentencia 145/2014, afirmó el carácter inaplazable de una regulación que abordase las intromisiones en la privacidad del investigado en el marco del proceso penal español. La LO 13/2015, de 5 de octubre, de modificación de la Ley de Enjuiciamiento Criminal para el fortalecimiento de las garantías procesales y la regulación de las medidas de investigación tecnológica trata de paliar esta situación de insuficiencia normativa. Se estudian en este trabajo, como uno de sus objetivos prioritarios, las exigencias derivadas del principio de legalidad con objeto de determinar, si la nueva normativa define las modalidades y la extensión del ejercicio del poder otorgado con la suficiente precisión para proteger al individuo de forma adecuada. Son objeto de atención específica, por ejemplo, los nuevos límites y alcance de la interceptación de las comunicaciones telefónicas y telemáticas (con especial atención a los casos de urgencia vital), la grabación de comunicaciones orales, captación de la imagen, seguimiento y localización mediante la utilización de dispositivos técnicos, el registro de los sistemas informáticos y el uso del dron como diligencias de investigación criminal. El trabajo se completa con el análisis de algunas de las últimas reformas acaecidas en el Derecho comparado, como la regulación en el proceso penal alemán de una medida tan invasiva como el registro remoto de equipos informáticos. Por último, se hace una referencia a los ciberdelitos y a las reformas del Código Penal español.
