The book is bound in the original card covers and is in very good condition with some shelf wear and a small crease across the bottom corner of the front cover. The contents are secure and clean with no inscription. This book was issued to accompany an exhibition of the Edinburgh School and Wider Circle of artists, held at Edinburgh on the 5th to 26th January, 2019, and an edited selection of the exhibition shown at the London Art Fair later in the month and then at the Borders Art Festival in March. The title refers to a group of artists associated with Edinburgh and Edinburgh College of Art after the First World War. The twenty-five artists represented include William Baillie, Gordon Bryce, Katie Horsman, David McClure, Anne Redpath, William Wilson, and John Bellany. After a brief biographical account of each artist, the book contains colour examples of their work.…
