Bound in contemporary full calf, gilt decorated sp…ine with gilt title, edges painted red, marbled endpapers, upper joint weak and partly broken, one corner bumped, inkstain in the upper left corner of the title, notwithstanding still a fine copy with a crisp interior, with clear imprints of the illustrations. (See Cohen , 348). (Petits défauts à la reliure, mors supérieur partiellement fendu, petite tâche d'encre dans le coin supérieure à gauche sur la page de titre, intérieur très bon, néamoins bel exemplaire complet de cette édition illustrée d'Erasme.
