Both the concept and its realization are brilliant, resulting in imagery that is strikingly original, "Conceptual" photography that is imagined rather than conceived, the work of an artist/photographer who has somehow given us a rare glimpse into the human soul, in all its beauty, pain, and "materiality", through photographs of the human body. The complete sequence was published as the eponymous Artist Book in 1997. An absolute "must-have" collectible, not just memorabilia, item/artwork for Gary Schneider collectors.
