Top edge gilt, sewn in silk linen ribbon bookmark. xxiv + 113 pp. Comprised of an Introduction and biographical notes by Hermann Erhard. With 89 illustrations, some in full-color, full-page. One hundred thirteen single-sided sheets. Covera are only slightly worn and soiled. There are 89 replicas of works of art held in St. Quentin. Introduction, biographical notes galore. Rather unusual in that this is a book devoted to a well known French artist but that was edited by a German reserve corpsman. Stated Second edition. The La Tour collection was brought to safety by the German army from the bombed St. Quentin. The editor dedicated the book to Wilhelm II, King of Württemberg.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
