Dust jacket soiled, chipping along edges with deepest being 5.5cm loss at spine head, strong toning to spine panel and at edges of rear panel, front panel detached from spine; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Brown cloth, deep chipping at spine head with loss at heel too, some soiling to rear board with patches of surface cloth loss along top edge. Dark brown top edge; toned fore-edge and bottom edge. Affixed to front free endpaper is blue-bordered address label sticker with top "From" area mostly trimmed off and with four lines of lower "To" area having inscription: "Lyle Carroll | with very best | wishes from | Dec 25-44 Janet Miller." Interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. Only a good copy in a poor dust jacket.
