Louis Hayward (1909-1985) was a British-American stage, movie, and television actor. Hayward made a name for himself on Broadway, which caught the attention of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, who signed him on. Hayward also worked for other movie studios including Warner Bros., Universal, and RKO Radio Pictures. He worked his way up to lead roles in movies such as The Luckiest Girl in the World (1936) and Midnight Intruder (1938). Hayward also starred in the television series, The Lone Wolf (1954).
