Es wurden einleitend Institutionen und Netzwerke…, die Zertifizierungen als Maßnahme zur Qualitätsentwicklung von E-Learning durchführen, erfasst und analysiert. Trotz unterschiedlicher Ansätze weisen deren Bemühungen in eine gemeinsame Richtung, eine Standardisierung hat sich jedoch bislang noch nicht herausgebildet. Auch die österreichische E-Learning-Community bekennt sich zu einer qualitätsbezogenen Auseinandersetzung. Das Forum neue Medien in der Lehre Austria hat im Zuge des F&E-Calls 2012 die Entwicklung des vorliegenden 'eLearning Qualitäts-Evaluationstools' beauftragt. Die vergleichende Analyse von sechzehn Zertifizierungsinitiativen gab Aufschluss über die Entwicklung von Kriterien und Indikatoren, die dem eLearning Qualitäts-Evaluationstool (eLQe) zugrunde gelegt wurden. Ein Web-basiertes Selbstevaluationstool wurde entwickelt, das Programmverantwortliche und Lehrende bei der Planung und Durchführung von E-Learning-Aktivitäten im Rahmen von Lehrveranstaltungen unterstützt. Die Selbstevaluation, die auf elqe.at durchgeführt werden kann, liefert Daten, die eine Orientierung in Bezug auf die Erreichung eigener Qualitätsziele anbietet, sodass auf diese Weise eine ressourcenfreundliche, auf Eigenleistung beruhende Qualitätsentwicklung ermöglicht wird. Eine Weiterentwicklung unter Einbeziehung zusätzlicher Akteurinnen und Akteure wird angestrebt 64 pp. Deutsch.
