This study assessed factors influencing the utilization of palliative care services among cancer patients at Mbale Regional Referral Hospital through three objectives: identifying patient-related factors, exploring system-related factors, and analyzing healthcare worker practices. A cross-sectional study design was employed, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative methods. Quantitative data were collected from 80 cancer patients randomly while qualitative data were obtained from 20 purposively selected key informant. Consecutive sampling ensured comprehensive inclusion, and thematic saturation guided qualitative analysis. Findings revealed a response rate of 88% .
