It shows a Texas sports fan in front of a radio listening to a football game and, with clenched fist & assertive face, saying, "HOLD THAT LINE!!" This book "captures the color and the glamour and the glory of a half-century of sports achievement" in Texas. Notable & famous athletes abound in short accounts of Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Dizzy Dean, Jimmie Demaret, Slingin' Sammy Baugh, Doak Walker, Babe Didrikson, & many others.
