Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Collectible. FIRST. nFINE. Green cloth boards, full gold titles and unfaded spine, greened top-edge. slight fore-edge stain. po dedication ffep. Extraordinarily nice copy of this scarce and special golf book by the reknowned US Amateur & US Open Champion, Chick Evans. Photo illustrated throughout with golfing notables including Bobby Jones. Rare/unique BONUS: Original framed B&W picture of Evans in full driver swing - in classic cap and knickers. 13.5" x 10.5" (in 14.5" x 11.5" period silver gray frame) "Harold A Parker, Pasadena California" label on reverse (circa 1921). Two preservations of an American golfing great. Chick Evans (1890-1979) was a caddie who went on to become one of the stars of his era as an amateur golfer. Evans won the U.S. Amateur once and the U.S. Open in 1916. His writing style is very good and he has an interesting early historical perspective on the game. Notably, there is a picture in the book of Evans wearing the exact same cap as in the framed photo! For the golfing Historian or Musuem. [B188].…
