Bound in original light blue paper covered boards with black printed motif on front cover, with a 'new' (done before it got to me) - but near identical to the original - cloth spine and with the Original (rubbed/sunned) paper label mounted on the spine as on the original. Likely new endpapers too, but as these are blank and older looking it's difficult to tell. A stain to the front outer bottom corner, and the corners/some edges are rubbed through the paper to the boards with a little loss of paper at these points. NO other Inscriptions or Marks. All Hinges tight. Page fore edges slightly dusty/lightly browning in parts. (xxiv) + 257 pp. 22 plates and 7 illustrations in the text. A Colour Frontispiece oval portrait of Daniel Ddu o Geredigion.
