Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book, first published in the 19th century, is a series of 12 letters exchanged between a Presbyterian minister and a Universalist minister. The letters explore the arguments for and against the doctrine of endless punishment for sinners. It explores the biblical, historical, and…philosophical aspects of the topic, drawing from scriptures common to both Judaism and Christianity. The significance of the topic is underscored by the authors through their belief that it is the most important subject for humans to consider. The Universalist minister's letters make the case for universal salvation, arguing that all human beings will be saved ultimately, and that although punishment for wrongdoing is a real possibility in the afterlife, it is finite and followed by redemption. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
