This issue is devoted to Edinburgh and contains the following articles: Beginnings of a Survey of Edinburgh by Professor P. Geddes, pp.281-298; Primitive Edinburgh by F. C. Mears, pp.298- 315; The Early Views and Maps of Edinburgh by William Cowan and Harry R. G. Inglis, pp.315- 327; and The "Edinburgh" Number: An Editorial Epilogue, pp. 328-329.
