The present work deals with the study of the ecology and economic potentialities of Senecio glaucus growing naturally in the Nile Delta region of Egypt (area comprises four habitats: salt marshes, sand formations, reed swamps and fertile non-cultivated lands habitat). The phytochemical analysis was carried out to evaluate their economic potentialities and uses in various purposes as a raw natural resources. On the other hand, the elementary analysis were also carried out. Silver nanoparticles (AgNp) were synthesized using Senecio glaucus extract as reducing and stabilizing agent are reported and evaluated for antibacterial activity against drug resistance for bacterial isolates.
