Nel corso di tale processo compositivo Tasso si misura costantemente con le forme della tradizione, cercando di rinnovarle dall'interno, in un lavoro poetico teso tra la ricerca di solidi fondamenti teorici e il continuo impulso verso sperimentali fughe in avanti.
