Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. Janet Aulisio; A.C. Farley; Dell Harris; et al (illustratore). Very Good - a strong Very Good. See scans and description. Analog Science Fiction and Fact, November, 1990. New York: Davis Publications, 1990. 12mo, illustrated perfect-bound wraps, 192 pp. Cover by A.C. Farley. Very Good; modest signs of cover handling, touch wear points around binding, and of course the inevitable age-toning of the paper used in all pulp fiction productions, unique to the inexpensive types of paper used for that classic American form, moderate and inoffensive. Pages are supple. Tiny, ancient price sticker on rear cover. Herein: Mammy Morgan Played the Organ, Her Daddy Beat the Drum; The Underhandler; Blythe Magic; A Slinger's Solution; more. Contributors include Michael F.Flynn; ChristopherAnvil; Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff; Randall Allen Farmer; et al. Art by Janet Aulisio; A.C. Farley; Dell Harris; et al. Also, science fact, as always. See scan of contents page. A collectible example of this issue of the the 1990 format of a very long-lived series of American science fiction publications - but you know about that. Condition is probably as solid as any you'll be likely to find. Ships in stout protection, of course. L103.

There are several light patches of toning / light discoloration to the covers. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's inked name and date on the front pastedown page, an inked notation on the top edge of the front endpaper and an ink stamped notice from the United States Food Administration, also on the front endpaper. "The United States Food Administration (19171920) was an independent Federal agency that controlled the production, distribution and conservation of food in the U. S. During the nation's participation in World War I. It was established to prevent monopolies and hoarding, and to maintain government control of foods through voluntary agreements and licensing. The agency was established by Executive Order 2679-A of August 10, 1917, pursuant to the Food and Fuel Control Act, and was abolished by Executive Order 3320 on August 21, 1920. Herbert Hoover was appointed to serve as Food Administrator. One of the agency's important tasks was the stabilization of the price of wheat on the U. S. Market. Concepts such as "meatless Mondays" and "wheatless Wednesdays" were also implemented to help ration food, so that the government could prioritize the war effort. " (from Wikipedia).
