2pp., 4to. In fair condition, lightly-aged and somewhat creased at extremities. He explains that he has sent 'the Van Gogh material' to Feisenberger, whose address he gives. 'We have known him well these last thirty years: he learnt his rare book expertise working (side by side with Tania) fror Irving Davis (Davis & Orioli).' He continues with the description of Feisenberger's career, adding 'Although thhe Van Gogh Ms is not strictly speaking within its scope, he is international figure with worldwide contacts amongst collectors and institutions who buy such items as you Van Gogh and is [in] a position to arrange things for you.' He ends the letter with suggested arrangements for a meeting. In a postscript he gives more information about Feisenberger ('known to everybody as "Feisi"'), whom he says 'comes of a distinguished pre-war German family who fled Hitler in 1933'.

The General Editor of the series was A. N. L. Munby, the noted author and librarian who spent much of his career working in the booktrade. This particular volume was edited, with an introduction by H. A. Feisenberger. Loosely inserted into the volume is a publisher's pamphlet pertaining to the work.
