Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good Minus. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. 1st Edition. Hebrew-English Edition. Apparent First of this Edition ( ' First published 1981 ' ). Two Volumes (Volume III (A) and Volume III (B). 388 and 402 pages). 'An English Translation of Shulchan Aruch and Mishnah Berurah with explanatory comments…, notes and facing Hebrew text.' 'The classic commentary to Shulchan Aruch Orach Chayim comprising the laws of daily Jewish conduct.' I purchased these volumes a good number of years ago from Rabbi, scholar, and psychoanalyst Alan W. Miller. He usually put his stamp in his books but he did not in these volumes. You can see the blue covers of both volumes in the photos. They are in very solid condition. Note though (see photos) that the color has faded on the front and rear. Volume III (A) has silver lettering on the front and spine. It's nicely bright. There is a little spot of crinkling at the top edge of the spine. The spine has a very slight forward lean. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The cover edges and corners are in very good shape, no rubbing on either. The rear cover has some silver specks, also a very slight crease off its top edge. The page edges are perfectly clean. The interior of the book is in excellent condition. The white inside covers and end papers are exceptionally clean. In fact, all of the pages appear to be exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any instances of soiling. I'm also not finding any creasing. And the pages are nicely bright, not toned. There are no markings in the book. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. On Volume III (B) the covers are also quite clean. The lettering here is gilt on both the front and the spine. It is nicely bright. There are two light creases on the front cover, three on the rear cover. On the rear cover you can see four specks of gilt near its middle edge. Again, here the cover edges and corners are in very good shape, no rubbing. The page edges are also very clean and bright. The spine here has a rearward lean at the bottom, but again this volume is also very solidly bound with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The white inside covers and end papers are clean, the exception being one tiny tan spot on the rear inside cover. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any instances soiling, and the pages are nicely bright, not toned. I'm also not finding any conspicuous creasing. There are no markings. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. Both dust jackets are in very decent condition. The one on Volume III (A) is quite clean. There are a few instances of mild rubbing. The top edge of the spine shows that. Off part of the top edge of the front there is a crease. There is also a teeny tiny tear. The top edge of the rear cover has some creasing. The flaps are in solid shape, perfectly clean. There is a little bit of creasing off both top edges of the flaps, and there is a very tiny tear off the middle edge of the rear flap, far from the print. The dust jacket of Volume III (B) looks quite good. It's quite clean. Again, there's a little rubbing at the top edge of the spine, a very slight bit of creasing at the top edge of the rear. The flaps are very clean. There is a little creasing at the top edge of the rear flap, also a slight scuff. There is a teeny tiny tear at the bottom edge of the front flap, again far from the print. The jackets are not priced or clipped. Both will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. Shipping is free within the United States.
