This WWI unit was organized in Fort Doge, Iowa (near Johnston, northwest of Des Moines) in 1917 and was formed mostly of men from Iowa. The unit left the U. S for Britain in August, 1918 and was deployed in France, where it served until 1919. Dozens of photographs and a roster of all of the officers and men.
