Binding has wear, some wear to label; inner hinges weak; lacks half-title page and blanks at front and rear; some wear to text margins and occasional staining. All 8 color Parrish plates are present (plus the pictorial title).

Early printing, hardcover, binding is shaken but remains firm, and the book has bowing to the boards, strong bumps to the spine ends and corners, sunning to spine with fading/wear to the titling, lighter sunning to the edges, some scraping to the illustration on the front with areas of smudging and small stains to the back, and a previous owner's name neatly inked to the head of the front fly leaf. Overall, this is a solid, Good+ copy.
