Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Good +. First Edition. quarto ca. 10"x 12", half bound in black leather with marbled paper covered boards with moderately heavy wear, but still protecting the contents. When placed right side up according to the spine label, there are ca. 30 leaves dated 1885- 1886 mentioning a weaving class and showing numerous patterns for weaving. Brompton and Knowles looms are mentioned- this appears to be class work. When turned around and opened from the conventional back, which has a handwritten label stating it is the weaving room book for season 1886- 1887, there are several pages of printed illustrations of various looms. These are followed by lots of pages of weaving patterns, most of these have a signature and various bits of written information. This part of the book appears to be a record from the weaving room of a manufacturer. Different looms are mentioned on the pages. Contents in good to very good condition. Scarce survivor. A place or company is not clearly specified, but guess of Massachsetts is reasonable. Due to size and weight overseas shipping may cost more than of an average book.
