    Folio. The two volumes are complete with half-titles. Volume I: 299 pages, with the addenda and corrigenda page [300]. Volume 2 : has all 85 plates several which are folding.Three papyri in Cairo were found in 1926 by Cecil Mallaby Firth in one of the rooms of the Old Kingdom mastaba belonging to a man named Niankhba. The papyri covered a period of seven months during the reign of Ramesses III and are the work of a scribe called Buqentuf, who was charged with the task of building a tomb on behalf of an army general by the name of May. Gunn who assisted Firth was key to reading some of the obscure words used in King Teti's era. His fascination with the occult led him to consider the ideas of A.E. Waite and others. A handsome set bound in 3/4 pebble grained moroco over brown cloth with the original wrappers bound in, marbled endpapes, raised bands, compartments lettered in gilt, top edges gilt, No names or bookplates.
