Laid in is a six page advertisement for the book, and includes a "Raison d'être" statement from the editor compiler and a summary of the books contents. This volume is lavishly illustrated with color and black-and-white images. Five pictures do not do this book justice. Thick, stamped (faux) leather/cloth over boards, 488 pp. Approx. 9.25" x 12.5" x 3", with a top gilt edge. Good Condition. Please examine photos closely. Wear, aging, soiling to covers. Some loss to rear cover. Binding is firm. Moderate play to joints, gutters appear to have been reinforced or redone- this is a heavy book, and will require additional shipping instead of the charges typically assigned.
