There is a gift inscription on the half title page in red ink "To Bill Klesert From Mel Max, & Bob Barber Christian 1984. Some underlining with red ink throughout. Foreword by Thomas McGuane "Brian Morris was a buckaroo for a big outfit in Nevada and he once said "The way everything is going, with more trucks, more fences, more machines being brought in to do the job of a man with a rope and a horse - do you think you'll ever be replaced by a machine? His answer was "Bill, they just ain't come up with nothin' yet that'll take as much abuse as a cowboy". There is one instance of underlining a sentence on page 9 with a red line . There may be others but a quick thumb through did not reveal any.
