The ATC was formed to train young cadets to help with essential wartime support from units based around the country, including aircrew duties, gliding and flight experience, carrying messages, loading ammunition and moving equipment; nearly 100,000 cadets went on to join the RAF by the end of WWII.ÂPrinted by HM Stationery Office by Chromoworks Ltd London.
