A very nice copy notwithstanding.

Frank Pick was chief executive officer and vice-chairman of the London Passenger Transport Board from its creation in 1933 until 1940 and the first chairman of the Council for Art and Industry. This book is from the collection of (Alexander) A B B Valentine (Chairman of the London Transport Board 1962 - 69) with his signature to front blank fly-leaf (and Mary Valentine at a later date). There are a very few scattered pencil marking to text - presumably by Valentine, but easily and cleanly erased when tested.
