Es zeigte sich, dass Personen mit gut ausgeprägten Selbstwirksamkeitsüberzeugungen sich bezüglich ihrer Leistungsfähigkeit anspruchsvollere Ziele setzen und diese auch hartnäckiger verfolgen als Personen, die weniger auf ihre Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen vertrauen. Bandura wies auch darauf hin, dass Personen mit hoher Selbstwirksamkeitsausprägung geringere Angst aufweisen. Diese Arbeit untersucht den Zusammenhang zwischen Selbstwirksamkeitsüberzeugungen im Bereich der Schulleistung und allgemeiner Angst, schulischen Ãngsten sowie Schulunlust. Zur Ãberprüfung dieses Zusammenhangs werden moderne statistische Verfahren wie die Rasch-Modelle verwendet. Neben dem Einsatz bewährter Erhebungsinstrumente zur Erfassung von Angst, Schulunlust und Selbstwirksamkeitsüberzeugungen werden schulspezifische Selbstwirksamkeitsskalen vorgestellt. Ãber die wissenschaftliche Güte dieser neuen Messinstrumente wird detailliert berichtet. Damit liegen neue reliable Erhebungsinstrumente vor, die in Schulentwicklungsprozessen für evaluative MaÃnahmen eingesetzt werden kà nnen. Die Autoren zeigen, dass ein Zusammenhang zwischen schulleistungsbezogenen Selbstwirksamkeitsüberzeugungen und Schulangst bzw. Schulunlust besteht.
