Sin embargo, en estos tiempos de cambio sociocultural y de mayor sensibilidad por la injusticia y la diversidad, es fundamental dirigir perspectivas críticas hacia nuestra disciplina. La filología románica puede y debe servir como herramienta para cuestionar supuestos existentes, descubrir narrativas ocultas y contribuir a una representación más inclusiva del ámbito cultural que se investiga.
