As a result, the style of leadershipplays a decisive role concerning a company's achievements in the majority of cases.Since the style of leadership might be the critical factor when it comes to thesuccess of a business, scientists have analyzed several leadership styles, which all havedifferent characteristics and therewith also varying effects on the respective companies.Two of the most common styles are the charismatic and the transformational leadership.As their names already indicate, each of these styles has its own characteristic featuresthat affect the surroundings in a variety of ways. But as different as these two leadershipstyles might seem, they also have similarities based in their principles and attitudes.Since the opinions among scientists partly seem to be divided concerning theresemblance of the two styles on the one hand and the diversity on the other hand, thispaper consequently deals with the task to expose the differences and similaritiesbetween charismatic and transformational leadership.First, in Chapter 2 Leadership in general a short definition of leadership ingeneral is given, for describing the universal understanding of leadership and itscomponents. For being able to highlight the corresponding differences and similaritiesbetween the two special leadership styles that have to be examined, Chapter 3Charismatic Leadership and Chapter 4 Transformational Leadership analyze thecharacteristics as well as the components of charismatic and transformational leadershipin order to get a better understanding of their basic attributes. The following Chapter 5Differences between Charismatic and Transformational Leadership shows the maindistinctions between these two leadership styles, based on the perceptions of theprevious chapters. Chapter 6 Similarities between Charismatic and TransformationalLeadership underlines on the other side the general similarities and parallels betweenthe two. Even though the Cherokee Nation and the Australian Aborigines share similar historical backgrounds with regard to a long lasting mistreatment by their prevailing governments, the Cherokee Nation, in contrast to the Australian Aborigines, has been and continues to experience a more successful economic development. This paper analyzes the reasons underlying this contrast. For that, the historical background of the Australian Aborigines and the Cherokee Nation is examined and compared. Since both of them were mistreated by their prevailing governments, their historical backgrounds are compared and the consequences of the mistreatment are applied to their contemporary economic situations. After that, the contemporary economic situations of the two peoples are compared, whereat the distinction between the Cherokee Nation's economic success and the Aborigine's economic failure becomes apparent. Finally, the reasons for the different economic development are investigated and in how far the affected peoples or even their governments, as in the case of the Australian Aborigines, are responsible for this difference. The results will be revealed and discussed.

Neben dem Kostenaspekt können bezüglich der Lagerhaltung für bestimmte Produkte, wie die sogenannten C-Teile, welche zwar lediglich einen geringen Nutzwerthaben, dafür aber in teilweise großer Menge verfügbar sein müssen , auch Beschaffungsprobleme und Engpässe auftreten, die sich nachteilig auf den Betrieb auswirken können. In den vergangenen Jahren wurden zahlreiche Modelle erstellt, um Lagerhaltungskosten und etwaige Probleme einzudämmen und somit reibungslose Abläufe in den Unternehmen zu gewähren. Eines dieser Konzepte ist KANBAN, welches auf dem Pull-Prinzip basierend die Materialversorgung in einem Regelkreislauf kunden- und bedarfsorientiert steuert . Da sich KANBAN besonders für Materialien eignet, welche wie die zuvor genannten C-Teile in großer Menge vorhanden und somit auch jederzeit wiederbeschaffbar sein müssen, wird das C-Teile-Management oft auf KANBAN-Basis aufgebaut, um dessen Vorteile vollkommen ausnutzen zu können. Um zeigen zu können, wie ein C-Teile-Management auf KANBAN-Basis in der Produktion funktioniert und welche Vorteile Unternehmen sich davon erhoffen können, wird in Kapitel 2 C-Teile zuerst auf die Unterteilungskriterien der ABC-Analyse und die daraus resultierenden Eigenschaften von C-Teilen eingegangen. Darauf folgend werden in Kapitel 3 KANBAN das Prinzip und die Vorteile des KANBAN grob vorgestellt, um anschließend in Kapitel 4 C-Teile-Management auf KANBAN-Basis die Funktionsweise eines C-Teile-Managements auf Basis des KANBAN-Prinzips und die daraus resultierenden Vorteile für Unternehmen näher zu beschreiben.
