Horses And Heroes The Story Of the Horse in America for 450 Years is a comprehensive and engaging book written by Frazier & Robert Hunt. The book tells the story of the horse in America, from its arrival with the Spanish conquistadors in the 16th century to the present day. The book covers a wide range of topics, including the role of horses in the American Revolution, the development of the horse racing industry, the use of horses in the Civil War, and the impact of the automobile on the horse industry. Throughout the book, the Hunts weave together historical facts and anecdotes with their own personal experiences and observations. Included are numerous photographs and illustrations that help bring the story to life. Overall, Horses and Heroes is a fascinating and informative book that will appeal to anyone with an interest in American history, horses, or both. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to understand the important role that horses have played in shaping the history of America.

They are at least reading copies, complete and in reasonable condition, but usually secondhand; frequently they are superior examples. Ordering more than one book may reduce your overall postage costs.
