One of 160 copies (those numbered 1 to 135 were for the Wayzgoose Anthology 1993) this copy is numbered 151. A Fine copy in the original paper envelope. The poem which dates back to 1350-75, is know from a single copy preserved in a composite manuscript, Lambert Palace, MS 523, f. 85b. It was called the complexions by its first editor Rossell Hope Robbins, in his Secular Lyrics of teh XIVth and XVthe Centuries (Oxford, 1952).
