Each plate with explanatory page opposite; tissue guards. Division size: 17-1/2" x 13-1/2" NB. Division 1 a variant issue, with publisher location as noted; Divisions 2-6 specify Cassell locations as "London, Paris, New York & Melbourne" Case - Nr Fine. Divisions: Division 1 fresh looking, VG+ - Nr Fine, with tipped-in bookplate prior to t.p., noting "This Book is supplied by John K. King & Son . not obtainable through the general Booksellers". Divisions 2 - 6 show wear, soiling & foxing, with Division 3 textblock starting to separate from the covers & with a light quarter circle stain in the lower left of the text block. Overall, Abt VG - Very Good. Quarter-bound maroon cloth spine over buff printed stiff-stock paper boards. Custom maroon cloth clam shell case, with leather title label to spine.
