Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Dust Jacket Included. 1st Ed. VG+ in VG to VG+ dust jacket with sunned spine. Illustrated with B&W plates. Biography, World War I.
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. Houghton Mifflin Co., Boston, 1928. Illustrated with one color plate, b&w photographs, three b&w maps (one foldout). 6.5" x 9.75". 374 pp. Grey cloth, paper spine label. This is primarily a military memoir of a senior British military officer, with information taken from more than 60 journals and other volumes of correspondence. Rawlinson fought with Kitchner on the Nile, took part in the Siege of Ladysmith, served in South Africa and throughout the First World War in France and Belgium, and then moved on to serve in Russia and India. The title sounds promising, but the only "sport" in the book are a few accounts of playing polo. Very good in very good wrapper.
