Quarter leather, gilt edges, gilt-stamping to the front denim cloth cover and leather spine. Fine condition, without CD or drawstring bag. Lavishly illustrated throughout with photographs by Henry Diltz, best known for his work with 1960s rock musicians who lived in Los AngelesÕs Laurel Canyon, which at the time was a center of American music. As Diltz recalls, ÒThere was a sense of brotherhood in all of this - in the music scene, in Laurel Canyon, certainly at Woodstock. But all the people I photographed: I love their music.Ó Included are contributions from such musical luminaries as Jackson Browne, David Crosby, Dan Fogelberg, Don Henley, Gary Burdenm Glenn Frey, Graham Nash, J.D. Baseball icon Don Zimmer is pictured as a senior, and he has inscribed/signed by his headshot: "Best wishes Ralph / Don Zimmer". This was likely signed post-high school, as Zimmer is the only person to have signed the book. Zimmer is also pictured as a member of the baseball, basketball, and football teams. Jim Frey, a former major league baseball coach and manager (as was Zimmer), is also pictured as a member of the senior class. A lifelong friend of Zim, Frey is also shown as his teammate on the baseball and basketball teams. This book also features some lovely b&w photography depicting school life by Russell R. Benson.
