Increasing insight into the mechanism of blood coagula tion has led to more effective therapy and prophylaxis. Particularly, the unders…tand ing of the biochemistry of fibrinolysis has provided possibilities for the pharma cological interference of these processes, which has resulted in effective haemostatic agents and useful antithrombotic ones. The development of antifibrinolytics for interfering with pathological fibrinolytic processes is nearly complete and has led to the development of drugs essential to the therapy of hyperfibrinolytic bleeding. The search for fibrinolytics for dissolving intravascular thrombi has led to highly effective compounds. This development is still under way and promising results are hoped. Spontaneous dissolution of blood clots is a phenomenon which was described a century ago. First investigations of this process assured that there is in the organism a system capable of removing the fibrin which is formed during blood coagulation after it has fulfilled its physiological function. This fibrinolytic system is specifically adapted to the degradation of insoluble fibrin into soluble degradation products. In the past 30 years, thorough investigation of this system has clarified the fibrinolytic process, its physiological role and its meaning as a pathogenetic principle. A good knowledge of these processes is required for an understanding of the effects and side effects of fibrinolytics and antifibrinolytics, which comprise the basis of methods for the detection of fibrinolytic processes in the organism and of the control of therapy with these drugs.

Softcover. Condizione: gut. 2008. Ich bin auch, wie ungefaehr in jeder Bewertung geschrieben wird, lange daran verzweifelt was das richtige Buch ist. Kurz zu den anderen die ich verglichen habeSpeckmann+super Graphiken + das was er erklaert vertseht man auch - viele wichtige Themen (z.B. CAMP, genaue Verschaltung des Auges mit O…n Off Bipolarzellen) werden ausgelassen, was mich angesichts der Groesse dieses Buches erstaunt Schmidt- zu viel auf molekularer Ebene und damit auch Graphiken entsprechend abstossend - Erklaerungen laden schon zum Verstehen ein, aber es fehlt immer das gewisse Etwas um zur endgueltigen Erkenntnis zu kommen Silbernagel+ wenn man ihn sich aufmerksam durchliesst und ab und zu einen Absatz wiederholt, dann sind die Erklaerungen sehr gut + alle wichtigen Themen drin + Abbildungen sind nach genauerem Anschauen und durchlesen des Untertextes sehr gut - z.T. zu kompilizierte umstaendige Erklaerugen, lange Schachtelsaetze etc. - lange Erklaerungen um einen Punkt zu erlaeutern Von den grossen Lehrbuechern ist der Silbernagel meiner Meinung nach aber am besten. Nun zu den kleineren BuechernEigentlich war ich von den Thieme Kurzlehrbuechern sehr ueberzeugt und denke auch dass der Huppelsberg sehr gut und verstaendlich geschrieben ist. Leider ist es in der Physiologie aber so dass zum vollen durchsteigen noch ein bisschen mehr gebraucht wird. Werde es zur Physikumsvorbereitung vielleicht auch nochmal anschauen. Nun zum eigentlichen ThemaDer Gekle ist wie die andern Taschenlehrbuecher super strukuriert, was einem umngemein hilft in die Themen einzusteigen. Er schafft es durch sehr viel deutlichere Sprache und bessere Erklaerungen die gleichen Inhalte wie der Silbernagel rueberzubrigen, verzichtet aber auf unnoetige Umschreibungen. Ich hatte immer das Gefuehl wenn ich was in diesem Buch gelesen mehr Infos rauszubekommen als beim Silbernagel, da es komprimierter ist. So weit ich es beurteilen kann enthaelt das Buch keine falschen Informationen, wie manch andere kleinen Buecher (Fakten stimmen mit Silbernagel ueberein, was denke ich ein guter Masstab ist). Der Gerke ist auch ausreichend um Praktika vorzubereiten (geht mit Kurzlehrbuch Thieme leider nicht). Die Graphiken sind t.w. an den Silbernagel angelehnt oder sogar besser. Lediglich das Kapitel des Auges ist nicht ganz gelungen. Er enthaelt also alle wichtigen Themen und Fakten und vesteht es auch diese auf den Punkt zu bringen. Am Anfang hat mich die kleine Schrift etwas genervt, aber habe mich schnell daran gewoehnt weil es richtig Spass macht ihn zu lesen. Der Preis ist super, ein Buch besser als der Silbernagel fuer weniger als die Haelfte. In deutscher Sprache. 20 pages. 25,2 x 18 x 2,2 cm.
