Die deutschen Texte sind in Kurzfassung ins Englische übertragen und umgekehrt.Hinzukommen zu Illustration der Therapieverfahren viele großteils farbige Abbildungen, die für alle gut verständlich sind. In dem Buch werden Therapieverfahren vorgestellt, mit denen schöpferische Kräfte geweckt werden können. Das geht über spezielle Varianten der Maltherapie und der Computermaltherapie bis hin zur Steinbildhauerei mit Marmor. Ferner geht es auch um die Abgrenzung gegenüber der Kunst. Hierbei kommen echte Künstler zu Wort, die an einer Krise oder Psychose erkrankt waren und durch ihre Kunstausübung Kräfte entfalten konnten, die ihrer Psyche wieder zu mehr Stabilität verholfen haben. Dieses sind Gegenregulationsprinzipien, die gegen Desintegration psychischer Strukturen eingesetzt werden können. Die Übertragung dieser schöpferischen und heilsamen Kräfte in das Dritte Therapieprinzip für psychisch Kranke ist das Hauptanliegen des Buches.
