Au contreplat supérieur ex-Libris de La Roche Lacarelle.Philibert Bugnyon, juriconsulte mâconnais, est en réalité l'éditeur ces chroniques très rares -en latin- sur la ville de Mâcon, c'est ce qu'indique l'Abbé Papillon dans son ouvrage intitulé "La Bibliothèque des Auteurs de Bourgogne" ( pages 117, 131 et 132). Il précise n'avoir jamais vu un autre exemplaire que celui qui lui appartenait. Jean Fustaillier "Fr. Fustalerius" est le véritable auteur. Il est d'ailleurs cité par Bugnyon, comme tel, au début de la préface. Guillaume Debure "Catalogue des Livres de la Bibliothèque de Feu M. Le Duc de La Vallière", 1783, T.III, N°5272 ; Gültlingen (S. Von), "Bibliographie des livres imprimés à Lyon au seizième siècle", 1992-2010, T. IX, "Jean de Tournes", n°454 ; "Volume rare" in Brunet "Manuel du libraire et de l'amateur de livres.", 1820, T.I, p.297 ; En 1560 Nicolas Edoard fit paraître l'édition traduite en vieux français comportant de nombreuses erreurs de traduction, notamment au niveau des noms de famille, in Baudrier "Bibliographie Lyonnaise", 4éme série, 1964Il est mentionné, à l'encre, en haut à droite le nom de "Papillon", faisant référence à l'Abbé Papillon qui possédât cet ouvrage. Est-ce écrit de sa propre main ? Livre.
