We present our experience with the rotational flap plasty(limberg-plasty) as a treatm…ent modality for pilonidal disease. From June 2006 till May 2013 we treated at our hospital 100patients with pilonidal disease. 9 out of them were treated with open technique (excision and secondary healing). The remaining 91 were treated by excision and primary closure according to the Limberg technique. 20 chronic cases without acute abscess formation.the rest with acute abscess = treated with primary limberg plasty. Septo-coll sponge applied.drain inserted for 48 hours. Antibiotics given for 7 days. Patients were discharged after 2 days and came for follow up every 4 days. stitches removed after 14 days. The post operative follow up was uneventful. Pain scale less than 2. Patients could manage their normal life from day 2 on and go to normal work after 2 -3 weeks. Limberg flap should be considered as the gold standard for the treatment of pilonidal disease both chronic and acute.

Entre junio de 2006 y mayo de 2013 tratamos en nuestro hospital a 100 pacientes con enfermedad pilonidal. Nueve de ellos fueron tratados con técnica abierta (escisión y cicatrización secundaria). Los 91 restantes fueron tratados mediante escisión y cierre primario según la técnica de Limberg. Veinte casos crónicos sin formación de absceso agudo; el resto, con absceso agudo, fueron tratados con plastia primaria de Limberg. Se aplicó una esponja Septo-coll. Se insertó un drenaje durante 48 horas. Se administraron antibióticos durante 7 días. Los pacientes fueron dados de alta al cabo de 2 días y acudieron a las revisiones cada 4 días. Se retiraron los puntos al cabo de 14 días. El seguimiento postoperatorio transcurrió sin incidentes. La escala de dolor fue inferior a 2. Los pacientes pudieron llevar una vida normal a partir del segundo día y reincorporarse a su trabajo habitual al cabo de 2-3 semanas. El colgajo de Limberg debe considerarse el tratamiento de referencia para la enfermedad pilonidal, tanto crónica como aguda.

È stata applicata una spugna Septo-coll. È stato inserito un drenaggio per 48 ore. Sono stati somministrati antibiotici per 7 giorni. I pazienti sono stati dimessi dopo 2 giorni e sono tornati per il follow-up ogni 4 giorni. I punti sono stati rimossi dopo 14 giorni. Il follow-up post-operatorio è stato regolare. Scala del dolore inferiore a 2. I pazienti hanno potuto gestire la loro vita normale a partire dal secondo giorno e tornare al lavoro normale dopo 2-3 settimane. Il lembo di Limberg deve essere considerato il gold standard per il trattamento della malattia pilonidale sia cronica che acuta.

Administraram-se antibióticos durante 7 dias. Os doentes receberam alta após 2 dias e compareceram para acompanhamento a cada 4 dias. Os pontos foram removidos após 14 dias. O acompanhamento pós-operatório decorreu sem intercorrências. Escala de dor inferior a 2. Os doentes puderam retomar a sua vida normal a partir do 2.º dia e regressar ao trabalho normal após 2 a 3 semanas. O retalho de Limberg deve ser considerado o padrão-ouro para o tratamento da doença pilonidal, tanto crónica como aguda.

Zastosowano g¿bk¿ Septo-coll. Dren pozostawiono na 48 godzin. Podawano antybiotyki przez 7 dni. Pacjentów wypisywano po 2 dniach, a na wizyty kontrolne przychodzili co 4 dni. Szwy usuwano po 14 dniach. Okres pooperacyjny przebiegä bez powik¿ä. Skala bólu wynosi¿a poni¿ej 2. Pacjenci mogli prowadzi¿ normalne ¿ycie od 2. dnia, a do normalnej pracy wracä po 2-3 tygodniach. P¿at Limbarga nale¿y uznä za z¿oty standard w leczeniu zarówno przewlek¿ej, jak i ostrej choroby pilonidalnej.
