L'auteur donne les caractères physiques, les notions chimiques, les effets sur les animaux, les effets sur les hommes bien portant, les effets dans les maladies, l'appréciation de l'action, l'action mécanique, la mode d'administration, préparations, etc. Avec quelques notes des traducteurs. "Le traité de thérapeutique de Giacomini, l'un des défenseurs les plus ardents de la doctrine de Rasori et de Tommasini, était, à l'époque où écrivait Combes 'La médecine en France et en Italie', l'expression la plus avancée et la plus en vogue de la matière médicale du contre-stimulisme. .
