First Edition. 48 loose cards representing work from around 40 artists, each with a black and white reproduction of a painting, a description of the painting, the size of the painting and the price at The Macbeth Gallery. These cards were part of a series called "Art Portfolio' issued 1925-1928. Included are several cards for Robert Henri, two for Frederick Frieseke, three for E. W. Deming, one John Singer Sargent, one William Merritt Chase, etc. Included are four of the original folders from 1926-1927 but all are incomplete and there are many additional cards from folders that are lacking.
