Collaborative images by H.Gallasch, W.Opitz, ARPenck, Terk. Dresden 1971-1976.) GALLASCH, OPITZ ,PENCK formed the artist cOllective Lucke TPT. In 1971 A.R Penck put together the artist s collective Die Lücke TPT along with fellow artists Harald Gallasch, and Wolfgang Opitz, as a socialist act. During their time together, the group focussed on the process and production of their collaborative based art, rather than the aesthetics of the work produced. The group s name translates to the gap , as Penck was referencing the lack of teamwork in the sterile East German art world. Die Lücke unfortunately dissolved in 1976 due to constant harassment by the Stasi.
