Fotografia
Two vintage color studio still photographs from the 1967 film. A British tourist wins a large amount of money gambling in Italy. He tries to smuggle the money through a Swiss bank account so he does not lose any of the money to British taxes. A woman he met at the casino offers to help but wants the money herself. Set in the Italian Riviera, shot on location in Veneto, and Liguria, Italy. One photograph 7.5 x 7.25 inches, one photograph 8.5 x 7 inches, both photographs trimmed. Very Good plus, one photograph with creasing at the corners.
Softcover. Condizione: Very Good. This is a 13X21 movie poster for a showing ofCountry Music Holiday. The poster has stamped-in dates of Sun & Mon, June 22 &23 whichwere probably applied by the thetre showing this feature. The year was likely 1958 since that is when Country Music Holiday was released. The poster is on thin cardboard and was obviously provided for use by local theatres. This poster is quite presentable, though it does have general wear, small creases, aging and two pen mark (one a stray near the bottom and one reading 10X 6 near the top left). It is housed in a lightweight poster frame. One word about Country Music Holiday -- One reviewer suggests that is in the running for worst movie ever made, while another enjoyed its preposterousness. It seems to have been a country music answer to the plethora of rock and roll movies that appeared in the 1950's, heavy on music, light on plot. The three main stars are, get this, Ferlin Husky, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Rocky Graziano. Also in the cast were Jesse White, June Carter, several country music acts and a very young Patty Duke in her first movie role. Quite a lineup. This poster came from northern Alabama in the Fort Payne area but no theatre is mentioned. ; Color Photographs; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 1 pages.
