Crawford, pseudonymously known as 'Garret Ford'. Crawford was an important editor and publisher of science fiction, founding the Fantasy Publishing Company which was one of the central fan presses of the era and with which Science and Sorcery was published. This collection contains works by major science fiction authors such as 'The Naming of Names' by Ray Bradbury, 'The Little Man on the Subway' by Isaac Asimov and James MacCreigh, 'Scanners Live in Vain' by Paul Myron Anthony Linebarger, or Cordwainer Smith, and 'The Lost Cord' by Sam Moskowitz'.
