Cloth. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. Dugald Walker (illustratore). First Edition. First published 1923, so stated. Teal cloth with gilted design to front cover and black tiles to cover and spine. This copy is VG. Exterior has modest soiling, spine ends are moderately worn, tips and edges are modestly worn. Gilt is still bright. Interior has decorative green EPs. 157 pages. Text is clear, unmarked, and securely bound with minimal/even age toning. Front gutter is loosening but not cracking.at the bottom. Color frontispiece and copious other illustrations.

Signed/inscribed on verso of the dediction page by the author, with an additional Signed Christmas Card laid in. Hardcover. Decorated blue boards lightly soiled and shelfworn with light wear along edges, spine ends and edge points. Page edges soiled. Internally a previous owners bookplate is attached to the inside front board but otherwise, aside from author inscription, a very good clean copy. It is missing one color plate which should be at page 46 and the outside bottom edge has been lost at pp31/32, but not affecting any text. The binding is tight with hinges intact. *Inscribed to Mrs.Charles A. Weyerhaeuser, who was talented musician, prominent in the organization of the Musical Art Club of Little Falls, MN. and her daughter. . Inscribed by author.
