Condizione: Sehr gut. Zustand: Sehr gut | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | The objective of the present study on use of plastic waste as a partial replacement of course & fine aggregate in concrete. A substantial growth in the consumption of plastic is observed all over the world in recent year, which has led to huge quantities of plastic related waste, recycling of plastic waste to produce new materials which can be used for concrete appears as one of the best solutions for disposing of waste due to its economic and ecological advantages, the properties of cement composites containing various type of plastic waste as aggregate filler. As 100% replacement of natural aggregate with plastic aggregate is not feasible partial replacement at various percentage. In this project use M25, M30, M35, M40 grade of concrete used in construction sites. The tests were performed at the age of 7, 28 and 91 day. Tests results indicated that inclusion of plastic waste coarse and fine aggregates in concrete it enhanced the compressive strength, Split tensile strength, flexural strength, acid attack and water absorption.…

During manufacturing process of cement large amount of carbon dioxide released in to the atmosphere and it is contribute 18.2% of total only due to manufacturing and infrastructure industries and it is approximately 76% of the anthropogenic Green House Gases contained of carbon dioxide. So it is require to develop green concrete by using the supplementary cementitious material in concrete as alternative. The main objective behind use of sustainable supplementary cementitious material is to reduce the use of cement content without effect on its strength parameter and performance. This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Concrete has been the major instrument for providing stable and reliable infrastructure since the days of the Greek and Roman Civilization. Now a day's specifications of concrete like durability, workability, compactness and quality of concrete has become more important. Durability is defined as ability to resist weathering action, chemical attack, abrasion; chloride attack etc that is durable concrete will retain its original form, quality and serviceability when exposed to its environment. To overcome problems in concrete a concrete of new era is developed called Self Compacting Concrete (SCC). SCC is a innovative concrete that is able to flow under its own weight and it does not require vibration for placing and it can fill the formwork and achieving full compaction in congested reinforcement. Supplementary Cementitious Material (SCM's) like Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), Fly-ash, micro-silica are added in the concrete to increase the durability, quality, and properties of concrete. The use of SCM's which is by-product from industrial waste serves both the purposes of sustainability and effective waste management. 100 pp. Englisch. …
