Moshe Gat was an Israeli painter, draftsman, and printmaker educated at the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem. Emerging in the 1950s and 1960s, he developed an expressive figurative style influenced by Mediterranean culture, Mexican social realism, and modernist brushwork. Gat exhibited internationally in Israel, Europe, Mexico, and the United States, earning recognition for emotionally charged portrayals of working people and everyday life.
