The book was originally published in France in 1969. ***Near fine in the trademark Pelican Latin American Library colours - black and white printed turquoise-blue and white covers. The covers have some marks and creasing commensurate with age and handling, but are actually remarkably clean. There is some light rubbing to the edges, but no serious creases or tears. The spine has no reading creases but is slightly curved from reading. The covers, including the spine, are unfaded (please see scans). Internally also near fine with a previous owner's name stamp (COSKER) on the half-title page, but no other inscriptions or annotations. No tears. A few top corner tips slightly creased.
