Composed in 14 point Linotype Pilgrim a type face based on a design by Eric Gill. Hand written 'This special edition of my father's first studies in the nude is limited to 100 copies' | This copy being number 62. Contains 3 pp introduction followed by 24 full-page single-sided reproductions of sketches by Eric Gill. Double SIGNED below the limitation note being signed by the artist's son 'Gordian Gill' and 'John Rothenstein' who wrote the Introduction. Light spotting to the edges of the white covers, off-setting to the end papers. Very Good condition book in acetate dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A. ART [British].
