Napoli, novembre 1849, Stabilimento di P. Androsio, in-8, mezza pelle coeva con ricchi fregi oro al dorso, piatti in cartone impresso a secco con decoro fitomorfo, pp.(8), 255, (1). Opera pubblicata anonima, ma attribuita a Florindo de Giorgio, "ufficiale di ripartimento e segretario del Ministro di Stato dell'Interno", in cui v…engono passati in rassegna gli atti governativi dal 1830 al dicembre 1847, e tutte le "cose operate in Sicilia per renderla fiorente e civile". L'analisi dell' autore viene condotta cronologicamente, colla divisione per provincia. Ferdinando II, pur sovrano di idee più liberali dei predecessori (operò riforme volte a migliorare l'economia e cercò di mantenere il regno fuori dall' influenza delle potenze straniere), dopo l'insurrezione di Sicilia del 1848 e la proclamazione dell'indipendenza dell'isola, decise di intraprendere una decisa restaurazione assolutistica. Seconda edizione, impressa nel medesimo anno della prima, ma ampliata. Ottime condizioni, salvo minime tracce di usura ai margini dei piatti.
